Carrickfern Pure Irish Honey harvests honey from our own beehives in apiaries in counties Cavan and Longford.
The honey is pure, raw Irish honey. It has not been blended with any other honey and comes straight from the bees. The honey is a multi-floral honey. The bees range and forage over the countryside in the area around their hive. The main element of their forage is generally white-thorn and blackthorn in early part of the year around May. Later in the year the main crop is generally clover and brambles/ blackberries. They will of course also work many other flowers, shrubs and plants availaible to them.
